Reference number of object to be orbited |
The expression Reference number refers to the reference number
that the object to be orbited
gets in the ordered selected objects list (Ref-No in the
configuration manager).
If you enter zero, 'none' will appear in the selected
objects list, meaning that the object in question is not in a circular orbit around
another body.
Zero is the only value allowed for the first object in the list. Another
condition to be satisfied is the following
       nOrbit  <   nObject
where nOrbit and nObject are the reference numbers the orbited and orbiting
objects get in the ordered selected objects list, respectively.

Save & Quit |
Saves the reference number you entered and quits the dialog
returning to the configuration manager.
This button is disabled
when you change from orbiting to non-orbiting and vice versa, because in those cases the configure
object wizard is mandatory due to the fact that for an orbiting object two positions must be
defined, whereas for a non-orbiting object an initial position and an initial velocity are to
be specified. |
